Mars Hill New Music Festival
The Mars Hill New Music Festival is a biennial festival of contemporary music held on the campus of Mars Hill University in North Carolina. The festival features performances, recitals, master classes, concerts, lectures, and multidisciplinary collaborations focused on music of the late 20th and 21st centuries. The Mars Hill New Music Festival is a celebration of multiple creative pathways in classical music, jazz, improvisational music, avant-garde explorations, and musical hybridization.
The Mars Hill New Music Festival highlights the performance/compositional talents of students and faculty of Mars Hill University but also presents the imaginative and ingenious efforts of featured guest artists from around the nation.
