Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia is a secret national music fraternity founded in 1898.  Sinfonia’s object best describes what Sinfonia’s purpose is as a fraternity: “The Object of this Fraternity shall be for the development of the best and truest fraternal spirit; the mutual welfare and brotherhood of musical students; the advancement of music in America and a loyalty to the Alma Mater.”

The Mars Hill University Pi Rho Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha was charted in December of 1967. With its current fourteen members, the Brothers of Pi Rho chapter have weekly meetings, share music across campus, and help out in the community.
